Resumen

Patients with Long QT Syndrome (LQTS) carry a very high risk of intraoperative malignant ventricular arrhythmias and are always a challenge to the anesthesiologist. We report An uneventful surgery under general anaesthesia in a patient with long QT syndrome (LQTS)- a 17 years old male posted for laparoscopic cholecystectomy for symptomatic cholelithiasis with intracardiac defibrillator (ICD) in situ.
